Old Gravesendian U17s (31) v (13) Dover U17s

Dover U17 played second fiddle to a capable Old gravesendian side on Sunday. Old G's played with the slope in the first half and their Big No 13 was quite at home running at Dover scoring the majority of thier points, Poor tackling and a lazy start were again Dovers downfall.

Good covering work from Full back Dight limited the damage and strong running from Mercer Pulled back 10 points with two tries. As the pack slowly woke up they started, at times, to take control of the contact area , and in the second half allowed half back Birrell time for a sucessful drop goal attempt. At 31 -13 a dissapointing league result to a game that should and could have been won.

Training will continue at Crabble Wednesday evening. Call Paddy McAdam 01304 363620
