Dover Under 10’s travelled to Whitstable for a Tri Club meeting. After a lengthy group training session the Dover squad re- grouped to play Whitstable. The home team opted for a winger only try scoring game. The sharks adjusted to these new rules and came out worthy 5-0 winners, with a well worked try for Reece Potts.
The second game against local rivals Folkestone returned to the conventional rules of the game. Folkestone scored an early try but at half time the teams were level at 5-5 after George Ashby scored for the Sharks. The second half saw both teams play good rugby but Dover defended their try line with controlled aggression and deservedly won the match 10-5 after a classic drive by prop Josh Fagg.
Squad: Ashby, Disbury, Fagg, Hailwood, Harris, Hulks, King, McMullin, Potts, Rawson, Ridley, Smith, Wall.
