Dover Under 10s travelled to Canterbury on Sunday facing 2 potentially tough games. Both Canterbury and Tonbridge turned up with large squads.
The Dover team have improved immeasurably this season and beat Canterbury 30-5 with fine tries by Potts, Fagg, Ashby(2) and King(2).
The second match against Tonbridge’s first team proved a tougher encounter with Dover trailing at half time. However, a spirited second half resulted in tries by Hulks, Ashby and Wild with Tonbridge eventually winning the match. The Dover scummage was dominant throughout both matches and the team tackled bravely. The whole squad showed great team spirit, kept their heads up and were once again a credit to Dover Rugby Club. Team: Ashby, Croft, Disbury, Fagg, Hailwood, Harris, Hulks, King, McMullin, Potts, Rawson, Ridley, Smith, Wild.
