Dover’s Under 9’s fielded a strong team for this Sunday’s
home match against Whitstable and Sheppy. The team, who are in their
first season of contact rugby have made a promising start and are eager
to show their newfound skills on the pitch. The first match against Whitstable
B resulted in a resounding win for Dover 8 – 0 and the second match
against Whitstable’s A team was closely fought, the final result
being another win for Dover, with 4 try’s to Whitstable’s
2. The final match was against Sheppy and the resulting 0-0 score at
full time reflected both teams abilities to defend as well as attack.
Great result for Dover’s under 9’s.
