Dover Under 7's played host to Whitstable and Sheppey at the weekend and with numbers booming were able to field three teams. Dover A kicked off first against Sheppey and won 3-2 with tries coming from Thomas Mosettig (2) and George Nikaj
On the other pitch Dover B were playing Whitstable A and came away with a draw. Try scorers were James Rhodes (2) and Harry Windley.
Next up were Dover C who convincingly beat Whitstable B 4-1 with tries from Abigail Coles (2), Morgan Ridges and Thomas Mosettig.
Sonny Batts and Joe Sabin (2) led Dover A to victory against Whistable A whilst Dover B lost their match against Sheppey despite two tries from James Rose, excellent tagging from Harry Windley and good support work from new comers Libby Rowland and Ben McKeown.
Dover C took on Whitstable A in the penultimate game of the morning and good play from both sides saw a 3-3 draw with the blues' tries coming from Aurellian Austin (2) and Thomas Mosettig.
The last match saw a mixed Dover team play a mixed Whitstable team and in an exciting end to end game Aurellian Austin was the only try scorer, leading Dover to a 1-0 victory.
All of Dover under 7’s played really well and it is hoped that this will carry on through out the rest of the season.
Next week is training at Crabble for any interested parties and the following week the U7's play away at Sittingbourne.
