Dover Ladies 1st XV (20) v (29) Gent Ladies 1st XV
The newly re-formed Dover ladies played host to Belgian touring team Gent
at the weekend., On their first outing they were hoping to give the Gent
side
a good game but if truth be told the inexperienced home team were expecting
a thrashing from the tourists, who play week in week in out and had some
internationals in their ranks. However from the whistle Dover found themselves
matching Gent in all area's of the park. 
With 15 minutes to go Dover were
leading but the superior fitness levels of Gent kicked in and 2 tries were
scored in quick succession leaving the tired legs of Dover Chasing shadows.
The final score of 20-29 was testament to the hard work of the Dover team
and should serve as a great boost for their next match against Tonbridge
Ladies on the March 2nd.
