Dover U17s (17) v (5) Aylesford U17s
Played on Sunday 4th March 2007

With Dover's Crabble pitches suffering at the hand of the weather the U17's went to Archers Court to take on Aylesford. Matches between these two teams have always been close and this was no exception, but some early indiscipline lost Aylesford the edge. Worsening conditions throughout the game appeared to favour Dover as they gradually took the lead. At half time Aylesford were 17 - 0 down and had lost one of their players. Dover lad Ben Rix pulled on an Aylesford shirt to allow the game to continue. An incident that lead to handbags being drawn saw James Warner leaving the field for treatment, this was the only thing to mar an enjoyable game. Aylsford stepped up thier game during the second half and were rewarded with a late try that ended the game a respectable 17 - 5
