Cranbrook (31) V (17) Dover U17
Played on Sunday 18th February 2007

Dover U17's match at Cranbrook on Sunday ended with a disappointing 31 - 17 defeat. Dover was slow to start, with poor tackling and ball retention being the main culprits allowing Cranbrook backs free range of the pitch. Dover forwards should easily have been a match for the opposition but in contact they were robbed of the ball at times with relative ease thus allowing the scoreboard to click up 25 - 0 at half time. The second half saw Dover rally impressively turning defence into attack, and at times they were camped in Cranbrooks half but they lacked the strength to break through Cranbrooks defence, nethertheless they pulled back 17 points to end the game 31 - 17, again a slow start and fielding only 14 players cost the team dear.
