Dover got back on track with their league fixtures this weekend with a convincing win over Aylesford. The afternoon kick off seemed to agree with the boys with Dover taking the early points, when half back Sam McPherson showed sleight of hand to open up the defence and score, however Aylesford fought back Hard and the first half developed into a very tight affair When Aylesford scored twice and though both tries remained unconverted they went into half time 10-7 up. Dover had the light wind in their faces in the second half and their play became more purposeful and patient and when Aylesford mishandled on their 22 the vigilant David Jordan Scooped up the loose ball to put Dover back on top scoring under the posts to allow Lewis Stevenson the second of two conversions, Sam Grayson completed the scoring with the last unconverted try to end an entertaining match.
Dover players were...
Grayson, O'Bree, Kember, Burr, Warner, Dight, King, McAdam, McPherson, Stevenson, Jordan, Golden, Westwood, Cooper, Ross, McMenamin
