Canterbury U14s (62) v (0) Dover U14s

Played 26th November 2006

This weekend saw a hard played match against Canterbury – both teams battled with a sharp wind blowing across the pitch.

Dover won the toss – Canterbury kicked off.

The first half saw a well-played game and after 15 minutes neither team had scored but then Canterbury scored with a run from deep.

The rest of the first half was more of the same but Dover felt aggrieved after there was a Canterbury try that shouldn’t of been awarded due to the ball not being in contact with the ground. Dover players were very frustrated.

The beginning of the second half saw more of the same and after Josh Mills (Man of the match) was studded in the knee Canterbury scored more points – two tries were unfair to Dover because yet again of held up ball.

Both teams played well and after the game, man of the match Josh Mills Pulled back one for Dover by Winning the Drinking Competition against Canterbury’s man of the match – Nice one Millsie.
