Under 11s Travel To Ash to Play Old Gravesendians!

Whilst we only had the opportunity to go against one side, Old Gravesendians U11s, Dover put in a good performance with many new players still jocking for positions. The scrum initially was weak through technical mistakes as opposed to strength; but later in the second half after a few adjustments to positioning the Dover U11s held their own with strong scrummaging in the second half and second game.
We still need to take what we learn in training to match day. For Neil and I it can be a bit frustrating when the simple things go wrong like running forward with the ball and not playing pass the pacel :-).
However, on the flip side of the coin we saw glimpses of brilliance from many players on the day and whilst we didn't manage to get a try we still played hard and that's what spurs us all on to bigger and better perfromances in the furture.
Many thanks go to Old Gravesendians for making the journey down to Ash and thanks to Ash for hosting us. Hopefully an under 11s side can be foun for the next fixture.
