Dover under 10’s took two teams on a highly successful weekend tour. On Saturday the Dover Sharks side played at the Premiership club of Harlequins in the Harlequins Community Cup, The under 10’s played against high profile National league teams and beat Portsmouth 10 – 5; drew 5 – 5 against Gosport and drew 10 – 10 against Barking. The results have put Dover through to the semi final of the Harlequins competition. The whole squad showed great determination improving with every game.
On Sunday the A team played against two Tonbridge Juddians teams in what was the teams first official fixtures, the team lost the first game 15 – 5; and then put in a spirited performance to win the second game 5 – 0. An excellent start to the A teams season
All players and coaches had a fantastic weekend both on the pitch as well as watching Harlequins v Sale, and a night out on the town and are already looking forward to our next tour
