The Sharks put on a brave and worthy performance against a well-drilled and determined Canterbury side, which beard no resemblance to the team they played earlier in the season. The Sharks however battled on for the full 80-minutes without letting their heads drop. Particular thanks should be given to McAdam and Bowman who led in the pack and backs respectively. Hopefully this defeat won’t dampen the spirits of youngsters Golden and Wraight who are only just starting out in senior club. Final score Dover 4ths 17 – Canterbury 5ths 58.
